As Counsel in NBCUniversal’s Brands and Content Group, Tim Hance advises businesses across NBCU on many different IP issues. His clients include networks, studios and major business units across the company. He helps these businesses clear their original and promotional content (including show titles, scripts, productions, and merchandise), prosecuting and growing their trademark and copyright portfolios, and enforcing and defending their rights against third parties before IP offices and on social media and online marketplaces. He also serves as the Brands and Content Group’s US Enforcement Chair, where he develops and implements brand protection strategies and anti-counterfeiting initiatives.
