MCLE Credit (for Lawyers)

Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) - Live Broadcast:

USC Gould School of Law certifies that this activity qualifies for participatory minimum continuing legal education credit.

  • 2.25 hours for Tuesday, September 22 (of which 2.25 hours may apply to elimination of bias credit)
  • 8 hours for Wednesday, September 23 (of which 1 hour may apply to elimination of bias credit)

Live viewers are eligible for 4.75 additional hours of participatory MCLE if they watch the On Demand videos after the Institute and report their credit using the MCLE Code.  You can only receive credit once for watching a sesssion.

The maximum amount of  MCLE credit offered for Live Broadcast viewing is 10.25 hours.

Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) - On Demand Viewing:

After the Institute, USC Gould School of Law certifies that On Demand viewing qualifies for participatory minimum continuing legal education credit.

  • 2.25 hours for Tuesday, September 22 (of which 2.25 hours may apply to elimination of bias credit)
  • 15 hours for Wednesday, September 23 (of which 1 hour may apply to elimination of bias credit)

You can only receive credit once for watching a sesssion. If you attended the live sessions, you are only eligible for 4.75 hours of additional credit.

The maximum amount of  MCLE credit offered for On Demand viewing is 15.0 hours.

MCLE Credit for Other States:

The USC Gould School of Law is a State of California approved MCLE provider.  This event may meet the requirements for continuing legal education credits in other states.  Please check with the State Bar Association or Supreme Court in the state in which you are seeking continuing legal education credits to see if this program is eligible.  Many states accept California MCLE credit through a reciprocal credit program; however, you will be responsible for filling out the paperwork.  Should you need additional information for your application, please email Wendy Wiley Willett at wwiley@law.usc.edu.

CPE Credit (for Accountants)

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) - Live Broadcast Viewing:

This program meets the guidelines set by the California State Board of Accountancy for live credit.

  • 195 minutes for Tuesday, September 22
  • 450 minutes for Wednesday, September 23 

The maximum amount of CPE credit offered for Live Broadcast viewing is 13 hours.

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) - On Demand Viewing - Not Available:

After the Institute, USC Gould School of Law intends to offer credit per the California State Board of Accountancy guidelines.  We do not have that system in place for On Demand CPE yet, so please check back for updates closer to the event.
